A physician or CRNA could be asked to work for one day, several months, or to commit to an assignment for a year or more depending on the need. Once I sign a contract with Vitruvian Medical does it prevent me from working with other locum tenens agencies?

Our contract does not require physicians and CRNA’s to work exclusively with Vitruvian Medical. However, we recommend that you limit the number of agencies you work with since many large hospitals and groups have contracts with multiple recruiting agencies. It’s best to select a recruiter who you feel is responsive to your needs and with whom you feel a connection. Limit the number of people with your information to hold the recruiter more accountable and to make sure someone is looking out for your best interest. With Vitruvian Medical you can be assured we are working hard for you, and you will know where your personal information is being sent at all times and by whom.

Vitruvian Medical maintains Medical Professional Liability coverage under the following terms:

Lexington Insurance Company which is “A” rated (Excellent) by A.M. Best.
Policy limits of liability are $1,000,000 each claim / $3,000,000 aggregate.
Type of policy is claims-made with the option to purchase a multi-year extended reporting tail/period.
